I am a Los Angeles–based artist with a background in architecture spanning over twenty years. My art and process are deeply informed by that experience. I began drawing and painting en plein air as a young architecture student studying abroad, and I have continued ever since. At the heart of my work is documenting memories and telling stories through drawing and watercolor. This focus has led to commissions, from personal pieces to venue branding and large-scale murals.

In addition to custom illustrations, I have created an extensive collection of black-and-white ink works drawn on location throughout Los Angeles, where inspiration feels endless. I aim to capture urban environments, landmarks, historical buildings, and natural settings that I find interesting and iconic within LA’s incredible and diverse landscape. My portfolio of plein air drawings also includes other cities and landscapes in California and Arizona, as well as scenes from my personal travels. Fine art prints of these drawings are available for purchase.

Lost Home Series

Los Angeles has long shaped my work.

A few days after the fires, I began drawing the homes that were lost — a project I have continued for over a year — as a way to honor the places people loved, the lives shaped within them, and the city they were part of.

This series includes over 90 drawings.
