The Georgian Hotel

The Georgian Hotel was drawn en plein air (on location) in Palisades Park in Santa Monica, California. Framed by tall palm trees, the drawing is composed with focus toward the front façade of the building with the signature striped awning and art deco building details. The curve of the stair in the foreground brings the viewers eye directly to the Santa Monica landmark hotel.
